Algorithm construction and animation

Laboratory SS 2001

[BABELFISH] Date according to declaration/agreement. Preliminary discussion on 1 April 2002, 14:00 o'clock in the AVG 50,41 -108. In the context of this practical course the knowledge acquired in the lecture algorithm technique is practically applied. In addition efficient algorithms and data structures, which admits partially from the lecture is, in the context of an algorithm library are regarded. Target of the practical course is it to arrange for the students object-oriented design and implementation techniques as well as abilities in handling an extensive library. The emphasis is thereby on the design or the selection and configuration of suitable algorithms and data structures to a given problem. On the basis visible examples students are to learn to attribute given problems to well-known solutions or develop new solutions. In this practical course the emphasis is new on the Anamation of algorithms. These animations are created with the help of an animation wordprocessor. The wordprocessor can be downloaded under i44pc29.info.uni-karlsruhe.de/VizzEditor free of charge.
