Consortium Members and Consortium Participants
The ANDF Consortium members are selected from European industries or from Research
institutes. Each Consortium member may register up to 5 people (participants) from
their organisation.
Organisation within the ANDF Consortium
The ANDF Consortium defines a group of people which takes care of the basic tasks
within the Consortium. At the moment there are 2 such key roles within the Consortium:

The 2 people must be selected from members among the ANDF Consortium.
The Chairman and the Editor are selected by voting among the members at the first
Consortium meeting and they are sitting in the position for a 1 year period. Each member has one vote for each of the
2 positions. Start-up situation be be decided at the first ANDF Consortium meeting
where the above-mentioned roles will be selected (among the Consortium members).
Obligations
Members of the ANDF Consortium are expected to promote the ANDF standard in their
local areas if possible and to recruit additional members whenever they might appear.
It is the obligation of the Chairman of the Consortium to issue semi-annual reports or
newsletters about progress with the language, internal or external key events, invitation for meetings and similar organisational matters.
It is the obligation of the Editor of the Consortium to collect all sorts of input,
requirements and similar regarding the ANDF language and to distribute such requests in quarterly reports to the
Consortium members. The Editor also makes a summarizing recommendation prior to the annual
Consortium meetings.
The Editor and the Chairman agrees on issues to be discussed or decided on at the yearly meetings.
Meetings
The ANDF Consortium will arrange yearly or semi-yearly Consortium meetings
(depending on the activity level).
At the meetings, forwarded material will be discussed and when appropriate
decisions will be made. In cases where choices have to be made, voting is to be used.
Voting
In cases where decisions has to be made and where several options are
available, voting will be used. At voting, each member of the Consortium (a selected
person from each members) make a vote. Each member has one vote. In case of no
majority, the Chairman makes the final decision.
Membership conditions
In order to become member of the ANDF Consortium, a member must apply to one of the
existing Consortium members who will then forward the request for participation to the
Chairman of the Consortium.
A Company or a Research organisation can apply up to people as part of their membership, however each member organisation has one vote only (to be
used when things are to be voted for at the yearly Consortium meetings).
There is no membership fee asscociated with the ANDF Consortium.
Starting-up Situation
In order to boot-strap the ANDF Consortium, i.e. the situation prior to the first
official ANDF Consortium meeting, a pre-selection of members and people has been made.
