Call for Papers GCSE Young Researchers Workshop 2001 (http://i44w3.info.uni-karlsruhe.de/~heuzer/GCSE-YRW2001/) Part of the Third International Symposium on Generative and Component-Based Software Engineering (GCSE 2001) Co-Hosted with the Net.ObjectDays 2001 September 10 - 13, 2001, Erfurt, Germany This call is of special interest to people who have recently started their career in the area of generative and component-based software development (the "young researchers"). We would like to encourage contributions from PhD students, post-docs, and practitioners in industry. The topics of the workshop are the same as those of the GCSE 2001 (see http://gcse2001.cs.rug.nl/). Objectives ---------- This workshop, traditionally held with the GCSE, aims at providing a forum for young researchers to get feedback on their work from renowned experts, to get into contact with other researchers in the field, and to become familiar with different approaches and future research topics. Submission Guidelines --------------------- Potential participants are asked to submit a short paper in English. It must be no longer than 2500 words or five pages (including figures, tables, and references). Format the paper according to the templates provided by the "For Authors page at the Net.ObjectDays site" (http://www.netobjectdays.org/node01/en/authors/index.html) and submit your paper in either Postscript format or PDF. The submission should be classified according to the progress of the work, e.g. third year's PhD work. More detailed guidelines on how submissions should be structured can be found on the workshop's home page (see above). All submitted papers will undergo a review process by a panel of renowned experts. We intend to publish accepted papers in the proceedings of the Net.ObjectDays 2001. Additionally, a downloadable version of the papers will be available on the home page of the GCSE 2001 Young Researchers Workshop. The number of accepted papers is limited to ten. Papers should be send by e-mail to: Detlef Streitferdt (mailto:detlef.streitferdt@theoinf.tu-ilmenau.de). Please use the text "GCSE YRW 2001 Submission" as the subject of your message. Workshop Program ---------------- Authors of accepted papers have to present their work during the workshop. Afterwards the presenter receives comments and hints from the members of the review panel.
