1 Introduction

In this document we give guidelines for structure, contents and format

2 Structure

A brief description of the problem this paper is addressing, a summary of the contribution of the paper, and maybe a very short outline of how the paper is organized. The main parts of the paper should concentrate on one to two major points or ideas in the following sections. Diagrams referenced should be explained shortly.

3 Content

Remove buzzwords or fill them with live, e.g. separation of concerns itself is not descriptive enough. If the problem seems to get to large, a focus on one or two of the issues can be very helpful. You should thereby address the question, what are your improvements with respect to GCSE topics? If you are working on an interdisciplinary topic, e.g. an application area for software engineering, you should clearly identify the relations to the topics of the GCSE. Then you should focus on these and discuss your approach in this respect. You cannot expect to get a lot of advice for the application area itself. Therefore questions you may want to adress are: What are the benefits of applying GCSE principles for your area? What can be learned about these principles by applying them?

4 How to insert References

A reference should be cited in the text using a number [1] or alternatively using abbreviation of the author name plus year [Cop99]. URLs can be included as citations as well.

5 How to insert Figures

This is the proposed way to present figures (cf.  figure 1).
