For registration, please fill out the following form and send it as soon as possible to costanza@web.de.

Remarks:

  1. Deadline for registration: January 28th, 2002
  2. The fee will be EUR 25,- and is to be paid at the workshop venue. It includes coffee, cakes and the workshop proceedings. It does not include meals.
  3. For presentations, there will be an overhead or video projector and a Windows PC (incl. PDF and PowerPoint). If you prefer to bring your own notebook you can do so. If you need other equipment, please contact costanza@web.de - we will see what we can do.
  4. Workshop language is English.
  5. For each paper we have a slot of 40 minutes, including discussion. We will deviate from the standard presentation-discussion-scheme and require each presenter to fit their slides into 5 minutes (yes, only five minutes). Please use only 3 or 4 slides and focus on the essential message or an important part of your paper. The audience will have read and know your paper! (See below.)
  6. For the same reason, we urge all participants to carefully read all papers. Please make notes about what things you like about each paper, and what can be improved in your opinion. The discussions will heavily benefit from doing so.
  7. On the second day of the workshop, there will be a free guided tour of the "Haus der Geschichte" ("House of German History"). Please let us know in advance if you want to participate.
